オーストラリア短期留学"学校生活、最初の1週間終了！"
昨日で学校生活最初の1週間を終えました。まだ1週間しか経っていませんが、学校のシステムや授業に慣れてきた気がします。徐々に自分から発言したり会話に入れたりできるようになってきました。最近、友達が日本語に興味を持ち始めたので、色々な日本語を教えています。僕が教えた日本語をきちんと表にまとめてくれています。僕もこの短期間で多くの英単語を教えてもらいました。木曜日はオーストラリアの先住民族であるアボリジニに感謝を伝える日で、アボリジニの人達に伝統的な動物を表すダンスを教わり、カンガルーのオスとメスの毛の質の違いなど、実際に触って学びました。金曜日は僕の誕生日だったのですが、寮の友達がサプライズでケーキを買ってきてくれました。とてもびっくりしましたが、何よりまだ会って1週間しか経ってない僕に対するみんなの優しさに感動しました。
Yesterday was the last day of my first week of school. Although it's only been a week, I feel that I'm starting to get used to the school's system and classes. I also have started to get much more involved in everyone's conversations. Recently, my friends are interested in Japanese so I've been teaching them some Japanese. One of my friends even has a table with all of the Japanese words that he had learned from me. I have learned a lot of new English words from my friends,too. Thursday was a special day called NAIDOC, which was a day to celebrate the aboriginals. We got to experience aboriginal's traditional dances and even feel the difference between male and female kangaroo's fur. On my birthday, which was Friday, my friends at a dorm surprised me with a birthday cake! I was really happy and surprised, but most of all, I was touched by the kindness of my friends.
